Knowledge of pathologies affecting the hearing system; Differential diagnosis of hearing loss in relation to the different audiometric tests used. Knowledge of rehabilitation, prosthetic and surgical approaches to hearing pathologies.
Knowledge and clinical-diagnostic approach of pathologies affecting the vestibular system; therapeutic and rehabilitative approaches of the main vertigo of peripheral origin.
Course Structure
Frontal lessons.
The themes of the program will be discussed with the aid of slides and the proposed topics will be the subject of collective discussion and in-depth analysis on the basis of any questions that arise during the lessons themselves.

Detailed Course Content
In-depth study of the anatomy and physiology of the hearing system; classification of hearing loss; Hearing screening procedures; differential diagnosis of the main pathologies affecting the auditory system; notes on medical, surgical and prosthetic-rehabilitation therapy.
Clinical basis regarding the main pathologies of the vestibular system; differential diagnosis of peripheral vertigo; notes on medical and rehabilitation therapy.
